About Consumer Advisory Groups

Consumer Advisory Groups (CAGs) are consumer groups who bring Consumer Voice at a service, local or regional level to advise mental health services on consumer needs and perspectives. CoMHWA hosts a register (directory), offers group resources and works collaboratively with CAGs to ensure consumer views are heard and taken forward at a statewide level.

CAG Resources and Reading

CAG Resource Pack

The Resource Pack has been developed as a guide in recognition of the diversity and autonomy for CAGs and includes examples of activities undertaken by existing CAGs. We encourage you to use the free templates and modify them to meet the needs of individual Consumer Advisory Groups (CAGs). All of these templates and tools have been sourced and developed in response to the needs identified by CAGs.
