CoMHWA offers an extensive range of mental health education and training programs and workshops that promote recovery, build capacity in community and services, support the consumer voice, and work to end stigma and discrimination.

All our programs are developed and delivered by qualified, lived experience trainers drawing on CoMHWA’s rich understanding of consumer views and perspectives.

3 Hours | This course is for consumers who wish to understand how the mental health services sector works. This will include mental health, recovery and wellbeing – what do these mean? Making better use of the mental health services and understanding how the different parts of the mental health services and support sector operates and what they do.

3 Hours | This course is for mental health service providers who are interested in understanding what co-design and co-production are and how providers might develop these processes. The course will help to further develop your knowledge and capacity to engage with consumers, consumer representatives, consumer advocacy groups (CAG’s) and or peer work force.
