CoMHWA offers mental health education and training services in order to raise awareness of recovery promote and support consumer voice, and work to end stigma and discrimination.

All our programs are developed and delivered by qualified, lived experience trainers drawing on CoMHWA’s rich understanding of consumer views and perspectives.

We have a track record of delivering high quality training to and on behalf of services, community groups and as part of funded projects.

Licy Be partnered with CoMHWA at the end of 2016 to present suicide prevention workshops to over 4000 youths across schools in the Perth metro area.

Half Day Workshops

Understanding Mental Health and Self-Care

Understanding mental health, who it effects and strategies to support your mental health. Evidence based strategies to support your mental health and well being including tools to support recovery.

Let’s Talk Suicide and Disclosure

Understanding the risks of suicide, how to have safe conversations and support peers that may be at risk. Learn about terminology and how to talk about suicide in a safe way.

Speakers Bureau

Our Speakers Bureau raises awareness and understanding through direct visits to schools, community groups and services.

We offer:

Lived Experience Speakers, trained and supported to share their story of hope and recovery with audiences.

Presentations to the wider community on a variety of topics, in order to raise awareness of consumer perspectives
