National Mental Health Consumer Carer Forum Research Released
September 12, 2017
Dr Robyn Martin and Dr Kate Dorozenko attended The Mental Health Services (TheMHS) conference in Sydney last week where an important piece of their research work was launched; “A Critical Literature Review of the Direct, Adverse Effects of Neuroleptic Drugs”. This work was commissioned by the National Mental Health Consumer and Carer Forum under the auspices of Mental Health Australia. The research found that the perspectives of those with lived experience of antipsychotic drugs were rarely reported.
